Red Hood and Nightwing take on the Court of Owls in the latest gameplay demo for GothamKnights.

WB Games Montréal has released new gameplay footage of Gotham Knights, which shows Nightwing and Red Hood infiltrating a Court of Owls hideout. The former Robins count as just two of the playable characters featured in Gotham Knights, with Barbara Gordon's Batgirl and Tim Drake's Robin rounding out this version of the remaining Bat-family members.

Separate from the Arkhamverse, which Rocksteady Studios is expanding upon in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Gotham Knights takes place following the untimely death of Bruce Wayne/Batman. But just because the Bat's away doesn't mean crime slows to a crawl in Gotham City. Quite the opposite is true actually, evidenced by one of the city's deadliest threats doubling its efforts with the Dark Knight out of commission.

The latest look at Gotham Knights in action showcased a host of other interesting details, too. For one, viewers finally get a closer glimpse at WB Games Montréal's version of the Belfry, one of Batman's many Gotham-based safe houses. This specific part of the demo, though brief, showed Dick Grayson/Nightwing and Jason Todd/Red Hood exploring the space unmasked. There's even a tender moment where the two brothers chat about potentially visiting Bruce's resting place.

At long last, Gotham Knights will launch later this year in October on PC and consoles. WB Games just confirmed one noteworthy piece of information, though - the title is no longer on track to hit PS4 and Xbox One platforms. Instead, this particular adventure will only see the light of day - or the dark of night - on current-gen consoles.Gotham Knights hits PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on October 25.
