The Senate has passed legislation to beef up security for Supreme Court justices.

The abortion debate continues to intensify around the nation following a leaked ruling of a draft opinion.WASHINGTON -- The Senate passed legislation Monday to beef up security for Supreme Court justices, ensuring they and their families are protected as the court deliberates abortion access and whether to overturn the landmark Roe v. Wade decision.

Protests have erupted in front of the Supreme Court Building and around the country after a leaked draft opinion suggested a majority of conservatives on the court are prepared to end the constitutional right to an abortion. Cornyn said threats to Supreme Court justices and their families are “disgraceful” and attempts to intimidate the independence of the judiciary branch shouldn't be tolerated.Passage of the legislation came as more than 100 people gathered Monday night outside Justice Samuel Alito’s home in Virginia, lighting candles and chanting, “Abort the court!”and Chief Justice John Roberts in the Washington and Maryland suburbs.

Why are the elites so well protected in our society but the people who really need help are disposable? World is upside down.

They better. The mayor of Chicago is calling for the LGBTQ2SIA community to come at them with weapons.

But they can't come together to do ANYTHING for the American people.

I know the answer Alex. What's the beginning of a Totalitarian government?

Wow, that was fast. The SC also struck down a law that said there had to be buffer zones around abortion/women's health clinics, which allowed anti-choice protesters to directly harass women accessing the clinic. 'Protection for me, but not for thee.'

Ok but how can we protect ourselves from the violence the Supreme Court justices are inflicted upon us?

Senate unanimously passes bill to protect families of Supreme Court justicesThe Senate unanimously passed a bill to provide top-level security services to Supreme Court justices and their families amid threats against conservative court members who look likely to strike down Roe v. Wade. Ive never had any connection to anyone named Ruth. Only loose connection I had was a woman on the Iowa Association of Housing Officials Board (a white woman from Carroll Iowa). She would be in her 70s now. Wow unanimous ? Lol the neverending hand maidens tale references serve as a constant reminder of the Left's lack of subtlety and general delusion
