With the apparent imminent demise of Roe vs. Wade by the U.S. Supreme Court, abortion advocates need to create a new strategy to continue the fight. The decision to overturn Roe will be based upon the argument that there is no federal constitutional right to an abortion, and therefore individual states are responsible for this issue.

If Roe vs. Wade is reversed, it will be instructive to see how the general culture and well-being in the different states fare, especially in those states that embrace abortion on demand compared to those that defend the lives of the unborn.Re: “A Texas belt buckle in New York — Is my family heirloom out of place, or am I?” by William Jones, Sunday Opinion.

It’s great that the Food and Drug Administration plans to ban menthol cigarettes and similar products. This will save many lives each year. Among other benefits, it will enable society to avoid medical treatment for the victims of smoking-driven illnesses.
