Draft of leaked opinion shows Supreme Court considering overturning Roe v. Wade, Politico reports

After oral arguments in the Mississippi case were held in December, four other justices -- Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett -- voted along with Alito indicating they would uphold the law, meaning a majority of the court has voted to overturn abortion rights.must be overruled,” Alito writes in the draft, referring to the landmark ruling and the 1992 case affirming the right to an abortion.

Also unclear is whether Roberts will issue his own opinion, concur with Alito’s draft or sign on to the dissenting opinion being crafted by the court’s liberal wing -- Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan, according to the outlet. The Alabama congressman noted that if the court ultimately overturns Roe v. Wade it will not make abortion illegal but instead allow each state to decide whether to legalize abortion rights.

There are 3 abortion clinics in the state of Alabama and 81 public, free health clinics. Why kill a baby when one can be prevented so much easier?

Watching the Libs freak out... All the ruling would mean is the laws about abortion go back to the states, where it should be. But most the commentors in this thread are too hysterical to understand that.

Imagine getting a longer prison sentence for aborting a rape baby than the rapist gets. Rapists rarely do anytime & the backlog of rape kits is enormous throughout the country which shows how prevalent rape is & how it's not a priority. Imagine a 10 yr old forced to have a baby.
