Jackson's final confirmation will be at least somewhat bipartisan, with Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and Mitt Romney (R-Utah) announcing they will vote yes

At the moment, Democrats expect Jackson to receive full support from their 50-member caucus — and that’s enough to get her confirmed. Her final confirmation will be at least somewhat bipartisan, with Sens. Susan Collins , Lisa Murkowski and Mitt Romney announcing they will vote yes.

Some Republicans recently suggested that they’re torn between supporting Jackson’s historic nomination and voting no based on opposition to her judicial philosophy. A few in that group are retiring this year, freeing them from the potential political risks of backing her nomination, although a vote to confirm Jackson would roil the GOP primaries currently underway to replace them.

“If it really is a pattern, that’s something I think we should be paying attention to. If it is an issue of … one-offs that have been hyped into more than that, I think that’s something we need to try to discern,” Murkowski said.Sen. Romney has said that he wouldn’t comment until Jackson’s hearings ended — insisting he’s undecided even as Republicans hope he votes no. He says he’ll “be weighing the capacity and philosophy and the decisions by a judge in her prior role.” He has met with the nominee. The South Carolinian was once viewed as among the most likely Republicans to support Biden’s Supreme Court pick. But while Graham supported Jackson’s nomination to the D.C.

The meticulous Ohio Republican has kept a staffer in the hearing room to monitor colleagues’ questions to Jackson and her answers. He agrees with some of his colleagues that Jackson’s bid to join the court is “a historic nomination.” But it’ll be tough for him to vote for her in the end, and he voted no on discharging Jackson’s nomination to the floor.

Stop it…

That makes it bipartisan.

NEVER EVER EVER USE THE PHRASE 'SOMEWHAT PARTISAN' AGAIN. I'm so embarrassed for you.

Romney is not a republican GTFO

you need a dictionary.

What about Thurgood Marshall and Clarence Thomas? Who the hell does your research?

'somewhat bipartisan'

She a pedophile protector

Or stunningly partisan with a soupçon of rational?

SoMeWhAt BiPaRTiSaN!

Politico at it again.

Pretty sure bipartisan is one of those binary, black/white, on/off kind of things. It either is or isn't.

This headline is somewhat crap.

Politico: We already pre-wrote the story that the vote was along partisan lines. Just gonna tweak it a bit.

Politico is somewhat a disaster to journalism

The phrase “somewhat bipartisan” is by a politico social media editor who somewhat sucks at their job

SO BIASED. IT’S RIDICULOUS. WHAT THE HELL IS “SOMEWHAT BIPARTISAN”? SHE WILL GET 3 GOO VOTES. WELL DONE BIDEN. WELL DONE JUSTICE KETANJI BROWN JACKSON! ✊🏾🇺🇸💙

One Democrat opposed Tanden's nomination and you called it 'bipartisan appetite'.

What is wrong with you? Bipartisan is Bipartisan

Hey Politico: There’s no “somewhat” involved.

It is bipartisan. Just say it.

TRY 'DESPITE PARTISAN'

What is somewhat bipartisan? It either is or it isn’t.

If there is one, just one vote from the other side it IS bipartisan. Not somewhat, IS.

It either is or it isn't. So it is a bipartisan vote. You are somewhat confused or somewhat so partisan you cannot report accurately. Or you are a journogandist for trumpism.

Drop the “at least somewhat.” Does have any editors?

I was somewhat pregnant 3 times in the 70’s and all 3 times I had a baby.

Our political media continues to fail us.

Somewhat? So what did you call Gorsuch confirmation? Oh riiight, you called it correctly, a theft, right?

'Somewhat'?!? A journalist that can't write is a 'journalist'.

SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG WITH THE MEDIA NOWADAYS

Is this how you reported Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation? Amy Coney Barrett? Bet not.

Somewhat?

Um, it’s either bipartisan or it’s not.

I used to like your work. This headline is trash. This isn’t SOMEWHAT bipartisan, it is bipartisan. Shame on you for trying to put a twist on it. That isn’t journalism

Well, you’re somewhat of a news organization. Just kidding. You’re not.

'Somewhat'? It's either bipartisan or it's not. This is bipartisan.

Like being a little pregnant

No, - you do not get to selective spin this. It is 100% bipartisan. Not 'somewhat' not 'nearly' nor any other incorrect adjectives you try to add. Bipartisan - PERIOD.

Is “at least somewhat” really necessary? Coming from a now partisan news agency, figures… Why not fully tow the party line and say 3 RINOs?

You mean will be bipartisan, it’s the old sport adage a win is a win whether it’s by one vote/point or three

Hey Politico, your Politico is showing again 🙄

Hardly bipartisan… more like pretending to support your party but pandering for votes. Desperately predictable

Politico taking every opportunity to try and spin anti-American propaganda.

The comments are doing what needs to be done

Thank you, SenatorCollins lisamurkowski MittRomney An admirable act of civic virtue.

Does anyone who works for Politico know anything? What is somewhat bipartisan? Is anyone there competent? At all? One person?

Somewhat? Do better.

‘Somewhat’ 🙄 It IS bipartisan. Politico is a rag.

I don’t and won’t read your publication because of stories like this, just the headline was enough.

We call it bipartisan. Not somewhat. It is or it isn’t, . This is why people can’t stand your bias.
