The family of singer Craig Lucas is set for a final farewell for his murdered brother and sister-in-law.Meanwhile, a relative is expected to appear in the Blue Downs Magistrate's Court on Thursday in connection with the killings.
Warren Lucas and his wife, Arlene, were killed in their home in Protea Heights, Cape Town, more than a week ago. A 15-year-old relative has been arrested in connection with their murders.On Wednesday evening, grief-stricken family and friends held a memorial service at Arlene's family home in Matroosfontein.He said:
Adams said when he received the call about the couple's death last Sunday evening, he immediately went on his knees to pray.Warren Lucas and his wife Arlene, both 37, were killed in their Protea Heights home in Brackenfell, Cape Town, last Sunday.An emotional Kaylin Albertyn, Arlene's niece, paid tribute to her during the memorial service.Albertyn said the couple had strong personalities and was great together.The Lucas family also attended the memorial."They are my responsibility.
