It asked the court for an order to set aside the approval, saying it amounts to violations of the citizen’s rights just as it requested for “an order of perpetual injunction restraining the Federal Government or any other authority, persons or group of persons from unlawfully accessing people’s personal details via NIN-SIM linkage without due process of the law”.
SERAP maintained that “interference with an individual’s right to privacy is not permissible if it is unlawful or arbitrary”.
We have the National identity card,voters card,NIN card, mobile operator identity sheet.drivers license,bank identity sheet.... Yet every day we have identity issues with our computing bodies....

I doubt if this SERAP members are not bandits and terrorist. Any initiative of the government to reduce insecurities will be met with their useless and senseless court threat. DSS should look into the operations and activities of these so called SERAP.
