Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project has sued President Muhammadu Buhari for failing to rescind his “approval” for security agencies to access people’s details via NIN-SIM linkage without due process of law.
SERAP is asking the court to determine whether the approval is consistent with the principles of legality and necessity. The organization said millions of law-abiding Nigerians may feel that their private lives are the subject of constant surveillance. SERAP noted that access to people’s personal details would contravene section 37 of the Nigerian Constitution 1999 , article 17 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
SERAPNigeria I beg is Court in Nigeria still listening to SERAP jokes?
Make this ones go sit down. Na now NIN-SIM linkage start😒
