Pulau Batu Puteh case documents can’t be disclosed to outsiders, court rules

THE Kuala Lumpur High Court has allowed an application by the Malaysian government and prime minister for documents in a suit regarding the withdrawal of a review application over the International Court of Justice’s decision on the Pulau Batu Puteh claim to not be disclosed to parties not involved in the case.

Senior federal counsel Ahmad Hanir Hambaly, representing the defendants, said the ruling was made after allowing the application by the two parties for a protection order filed on November 29.
