The 19-year-old father was arrested in the Surfers Paradise nightclub precinct in the early hours of September 26."I'll repay my family and friends and club and fans who all stuck by me."Walsh was on a night out partying with friends when police told him to move on.When he didn't leave, they arrested him and took him to Surfers Paradise police station.
During a pat-down, officers found a bag in his front pants pocket, containing what appeared to be cocaine.He was charged with possession of a prohibited substance."It's a mistake that I've made and I'm aware of that and I'm remorseful and I should never have done it," Walsh said at the time.Walsh was fined $400 and given a nine-month good behaviour bond.
"I'm going to work really hard and bounce back from this and make sure something like this never happens again," Walsh said.
Now hopefully the sports media will stop trying to normalise drug use!! It is not normal to do drugs, it is not okay to do drugs. Normal people in society don't do drugs!! He should have been roasted, not made a hero of.
