In a particular twist of legal cruelty, Texas state officials technically do not enforce the law. Instead, SB8 deputizes individual civilians, allowing them to sue anyone who “aids and abets” an abortion procedure after six weeks — effectively creating a vigilante network of anti-abortion crusaders.

Supreme Court asked to block Texas' six-week abortion banGroup of abortion-rights advocates and providers file emergency request with the Supreme Court asking the justices to block implementation of a new Texas law that bans procedures as early as 6 weeks. I'm guessing that this 'law' is 100% illegal. Whether you are for or against abortion it is currently legal in all 50 states without a 6-week ban (correct me if I'm wrong) . FYI, I'm pro life but I obey our laws. When killing unborn babies what's the proper time frame? What next? A ban on contraception?
