Group of abortion-rights advocates and providers file emergency request with the Supreme Court asking the justices to block implementation of a new Texas law that bans procedures as early as 6 weeks.

A group of abortion rights advocates and providers filed an emergency request with the Supreme Court on Monday asking the justices to block implementation of a new Texas law that bans procedures as early as six weeks of pregnancy.

The measure was signed into law in May and forbids abortions after fetal cardiac activity is detected, making it the largest state to outlaw interventions at the point many women don't know they are pregnant. In Monday’s filing, the group said if the law is allowed to go into effect, it would “immediately and catastrophically reduce abortion access in Texas, barring care for at least 85 percent of Texas abortion patients.”

America's taliban at it again. Maybe they should move to Afghanistan. They could murder innocent children all they wanted.

What next? A ban on contraception? These fools really want to get in a good spot in the line for The Rapture I guess!

When killing unborn babies what's the proper time frame?

I'm guessing that this 'law' is 100% illegal. Whether you are for or against abortion it is currently legal in all 50 states without a 6-week ban (correct me if I'm wrong) . FYI, I'm pro life but I obey our laws.
