The Supreme Court has lifted the Biden administration's latest federal ban on evictions during the pandemic

WASHINGTON—The Supreme Court on Thursday lifted the latest federal ban on evictions during the Covid-19 pandemic, a swift legal blow against a moratorium the Biden administration imposed this month despite questions about its legality.

Three liberal justices dissented.

I am all for helping people. However, The ban on evictions should never have lasted this long. It will only make the situation 1000x worst than it would have been if this were short term as intended. Sadly, I expect it will be horrible in some areas.
