Yuh-Line Niou, an assembly member who is also a sexual assault survivor, reacted to the defense in an interview on"When the attorneys had appeared together, and were talking, they definitely were saying some things that I can tell you personally was very triggering," she said, referring to Glavin's attack on the accuser's credibility.

Cuomo should be allowed to present a defence without worrying about people being triggered. This isn’t about her or what happened to her. She seems unable to look at the information fairly.

Trigger is like so 2010! They're just lawyers being lawyers. Every time someone files a law suit, they're fair game. If you don't want two get triggered, don't sue

So now the accused can't even have their lawyers discuss their case and give their clients an opportunity at due process because it might trigger people? No disrespect at all to survivors. None. They can however switch the tv off. Not take part. Stay out of it.
