Kanu is facing charges bordering on treasonable felony instituted against him at the court

The Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday ordered the detention of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu till July 26, 2021 for continuation of his trial. He was granted bail in April 2017 for health reasons but skipped bail after flouting some of the conditions given to him by the court.

He said the judge who asked his sureties to produce him should have asked the army why they invaded his residence. The Nigerian government on Tuesday announced his arrest and extradition to Nigeria to continue facing trial.

What a government in Nigeria history

Shame on this government that spent billions of dollars yet couldn't get boko haram leader who is waiting Nigeria soldiers yet go after a man with a microphone. Thus this goes to show how failed Nigeria is. Every single move this senseless government makes bringing them near war

The President’s apparent passivity and silence in the face of precarious events has some advantages. Yana shiru kwatsam sai ga Kanu a cikin handcuffs, extradited to Nigeria to face the justice he’s evading. Stoic quietism at its best. Well done Baba.

Dem run am foreign. Naija govt can actually be efficient and effective when they focus.

Hmmm, his plan has finally worked out.... Now the whole world is watching lol... Nigeria if Una wise make Una just leave the guy gently. Nigeria is about to break up. Nah trap ooo lol.

They should keep him there till eternity.

To be honest I thought Nnami kanu is very much untouched and can never be arrested with the way he was abusing and issuing out threats to the country; ! Can't really say but he went too far with his behaviors. I wish him all the best

The tactless FG of Nigeria is only solidifying the hero status of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Kill him and he becomes a beloved martyr forever cherished in the heart of MILLIONS. BiafraFreedom is near.
