High Court rules that Ian Bailey cannot be extradited to France in connection with murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier

IAN BAILEY CANNOT be extradited to France in relation to the murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier, the High Court has ruled.

The Englishman , with an address at The Prairie, Liscaha, Schull was convicted of the French woman’s murder in his absence in a Paris court in May 2019. He told the High Court earlier this year that he has been greatly restrained and unable to travel freely since the issuing of a European Arrest Warrant against him in 2010.

Court to rule on French attempt to extradite Ian BaileyIan Bailey will learn today if a third attempt by French authorities to extradite him in relation to the death of Sophie Du Plantier in west Cork in December 1996 is successful. This guy needs to be in cuffs and a boiler suit and flung on the next cargo plane to Paris. If you sent Bailey over to France you are admitted Irish courts & garda are no good Irish crime deserves Irish justice. The French should have no say in any of this.
