Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation hearing in September 2017 offers a preview of the responses and rebuttals that she could bring to her Supreme Court hearing

WASHINGTON—When Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett had her first confirmation hearing three years ago to serve on a Chicago-based federal appeals court, she stressed that a judge’s personal views should remain separate from his or her professional life.

“It’s never appropriate for a judge to impose that judge’s personal convictions, whether they derive from faith or anywhere else, on the law,” she told lawmakers on the Senate Judiciary Committee.

She shouldn't be there at all whoever the next President is weather it's Joe Biden or Donald Trump should by rights make the choice, this is a effort by the right to pack the court because they are desperately afraid they will loose!

Did she tell Trump she had COVID not long ago? If not, is that treason?

This assumes there'll be a hearing.

We've had enough of the corruption, lies, and 'norms/precedent/rules/laws for thee but not for me' hypocrites. VoteThemAllOut VoteBlueToEndThisNightmare BidenHarris2020

Judge Barrett is very dignified woman. She speaks clearly and projects an image of class.

Spoiler alert....she gets confirmed in the end.

Why are you marching along with this charade? This should not be happening!!! Write about that. Quit normalizing the GOPSuperSpreaders

This should not be happening, the president is deranged 25thAmendmentNow

Graham, to hold off on the confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett, saying it 'threatens the health and safety' of members. How could they possibly think he would agree? If there is enough evidence to delay the people's work then they should delay the election too. BS

Dems oppose Barrett nomination, citing Senate COVID cases and limitations of video questioningDemocratic members of the Senate Judiciary Committee urged its chairman, Senator Lindsey Graham, to delay the Supreme Court nomination hearing for Judge Amy Coney Barrett. Strange the Dems complaining that a remote process has limitations. Wouldn’t it be the Republicans who are in isolation who may feel that way? So our workers can run food plants to make sure we don't starve but they can't meet social distanced in a room and do their job. Just a lame excuse obviously. You have already cried wolf about this nominee enough. FILLTHATSEATNOW
