*her truth* This is my problem, we don’t know if it’s true. Half the people don’t remember the other half say it didn’t happen. This type of framing is just an emotional appeal and is all complete bullshit.
"Sexual misconduct shouldn't get in the way of a man's career." That's the old standard. But yeah--it should. If you're going to pretend to standards of integrity and character, you have to show it in your treatment of women, as well.
