SDA National Secretary Gerard Dwyer has responded to footage which shows a woman threatening legal action against a Bunning’s Warehouse staff worker who told the woman masks were mandatory for store entry.

Mr Dwyer told Sky News the woman's behaviour was “completely irresponsible and downright wrong, that lady was actually putting at risk those retail workers and everyone else in that store".

“Face masks aren’t about some political statement, they’re actually a health measure in our fight as a community against the pandemic," he said. “The fact is she went into a place that has the right to put in place conditions of entry, reasonable conditions of entry in line with Victorian law at present, and in line with the advice of medical authorities, she had no justification for not wearing her mask.

i don't like the 'as a woman' part she adds at the end to her statement. clearly she was looking for a fight

The woman approached the situation like a flog but if you read the DHHS website she is right. You don’t need to produce a medical certificate. You also don’t need to carry on to staff and Police as the rules change day to day. Politely point out the update and get over it.

I give you the RingWormRight

Be quiet. The corrupt government let this dirty chinese virus in here and their incompetence will ensure that it stays and does as much damage as possible. Australian blood is on their hands. So before you badger scared people who don't know what to believe remember.... We know.

Not one single person has been able to provide cold hard evidence to show that masks are 100% effective in stopping the spread of the virus. Until then, we should not be forced to wear masks at all.

🤔 If they're not going to wear a mask I'm not wearing pants !! nopants
