BA, Ryanair and EasyJet launch legal fight over 'devastating' quarantine plan

British Airways, Ryanair and EasyJet have filed a formal legal challenge to the government's quarantine policy.

However, the government has said the quarantine period is a"proportionate and time-limited approach" to protect public health. In a statement, the three airlines said they had not seen any evidence on how and when so-called"air bridges", allowing quarantine-free travel between the UK and other countries with low infection rates, could be implemented.

British Airways is proposing to make 12,000 of its 45,000 staff redundant, with more than 1,000 pilot roles at risk

I hope Ryanair go under. Worst goddamn Airline I’ve ever flown with.

And I bet they still come running to the government for more cash! Not much chance of getting any after this.

Lives before profit!

BBCPolitics Who are all these 'lost' passengers? At the moment, who the hell wants to sit in a tin can, with a few hundred others, for hours on end?

If you said the sky was blue I’d have to check that myself as can’t believe a thing the British brainwashing corporation puts out as being anything like the truth.

BBCPolitics Blatant disregard for the safety of the British people coupled with the lack of thanks for the massive help already given and their own abject failure to comply with the laws regarding refunds this is astonishing

BBCPolitics Shut the fucking airports.

Funny enough a lot of people who have booked their flights for July are seeing their booking canceled. If you care about your customers don't blame others and take responsibility for your mistakes. easyJet Ryanair

Profit before lives.

Its more important to put crew lives at risk and boost your bonus isn't it Walsh? Wearing a mask will do F all (I'm an Emergency Care Practitioner, Paramedic, and Forensic Medical Examiner).Corporate manslaughter-when your own staff die because of unsafe working conditions.

They want to.keep the middle seat.

Dopey Boris Johnson did them all a favour and waited 2 and half months before this quarantine rule came in and according to O'Farty they're be on the golf courses anyway
