Washington New developments in the Michael Flynn case have breathed new life into old controversies about Russian interference in the 2016 election, and the never-ending fallout.
Flynn, who was President Donald Trump's first national security adviser before resigning and pleading guilty to lying to the FBI, is in a state of legal limbo. The Justice Department reversed course this month and asked to drop the case against him, and a federal judge is reviewing the request.
Sigh, I read this article looking for one word of honesty & this is as close as it came: 'This outside team provided Flynn's lawyers with some documents last month...' That's the entirety of CNN's reporting on the hit job on Flynn & the conspiracy behind the phoney Russia probe.
We already know! We read the papers and have seen how what they said to CNN and what they testified to were completely opposite.
Note- only one quick sentence about leaking to the press is mentioned! Also, the was nothing illegal about Flynn talking to Russia, and nothing illegal about the content of his conversation with russia!
