The cases involve efforts by House Democrats and a N.Y. prosecutor to obtain the president's documents.

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday seemed prepared to rule that Congress went too far in seeking broad access to President Donald Trump's personal financial documents but that a New York prosecutor may be able to get his tax records.

House Democrats have said they believe the records might provide insights into a question special counsel Robert Mueller never answered: Did Trump borrow money from Russian entities or otherwise do business with them before he became president? While a majority of the court seemed concerned that the Congressional demands sweep too broadly, seeking years of records from Trump and members of his family, it's possible the court could allow more narrow subpoenas for personal documents before he became president.

They should uphold the law one day they may be dealing with a Democrat and not be able to see anything of theirs or even make them testify. But then Democrats are honest.

That means a 5-4 victory for Trump. If it was 5-4 the other way, it would be reported as 'Supreme Court hands Trump a stunning defeat.'

THAT'S IT! I have said for a while now, the only reason Trump wants re-election in Nov to to keep his butt out of legal trouble. He knows that if he loses, his trash won't be out of the WH five minutes before an indictment is unsealed!
