Attorneys for President Donald Trump this week will ask the U.S. Supreme Court to grant him sweeping immunity from investigation by Congress and local prosecutors into his conduct as a private citizen, as long as he's still in office.

The outcome will also determine whether Trump -- the only modern American president to have not publicly released tax returns or divest from major business interests while in office -- has to share more personal financial information with voters before the November election. Vance, a Democrat, has said he's seeking the records for an ongoing criminal probe into possible violations of state financial laws by Trump and the Trump Organization. The lawmakers say the information they seek is critical to drafting of federal ethics and anti-corruption legislation involving presidents.

Yahoo and an advance pardon for any wrong doing they might find him guilty of.

Fully legal.

What do we call people who are not willing to face the music

Hillary Clinton and Obama's goons had all kinds of immunity!!! Why didn't you report on that?

Look for a way out, wear the facemask!

He also claims Absolute Immunity from Coronavirus.

Go for it Big Mac Donny... Absolutely! What have you got to lose? Right?

No one is above the law, including POTUS. That's one of our founding principles. Besides, he's so busy playing golf, he doesn't have time to work.

'Absolute,' eh? As in Supreme Ruler. As in 'L'etat c'est moi.' As in '... sent by God....'

I'm conservative by nature not a democrat or republican but all politicians including the president should willing show tax returns to prove their honesty. If it's tied up with the IRS, well let SCOTUS rule...

He should claim absolute stupidity

but when the president does it, that means it's not illegal.
