A man who claimed he was held at gunpoint during one of Victoria's biggest gold heists has been accused of being in on the robbery and charged by police. 9News

has been accused of being in on the robbery after he claimed he was held at gunpoint by the thief.

Daniel Ede, 37, is accused of lying to police about being threatened with a pistol as a masked man snatched gold bullion, jewellery and cash from the Collins Street gold dealer business in Melbourne on April 27.Yesterday, police released CCTV of a white Holden ute seen travelling toward the town of Dollar, where the stolen valuables were found buried on a rural property.
