Okolie was arrested and detained by the DSS for a period of 10 weeks for lawfully purchasing and using an MTN SIM card previously used by Hanan, daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Federal High Court, Asaba, Delta State, has fixed May 14, 2020 for judgment in the lawsuit filed by a Nigerian businessman, Anthony Okolie, against Hanan Buhari, the Department of State Services and telecommunication company, MTN.

At the hearing of the suit, Okolie's lawyer, Tope Akinyode said,"The applicant was detained for a period of 10 weeks. “We ordinarily do not need to be labour ourselves, it is a clear violation of the applicant's human rights."

Wrong approach by DSS. No common sense applied. If Okorie has fabricated the sim card, it would have been a different thing entirely. Common give me a break man.

What a country

The DSS received instructions from Hanah to release him? This is laughable....how can the President's daughter give instructions to the DSS or how can the DSS carry out an order from Hanah Buhari....wonders shall never end...

Even the daughter of the president Nigeria commands the DSS falzthebahdguy will always say 'This is Nigeria'

Does the phrase ‘legally purchase’ have the same context of ‘legally used’ by the person? SR is assuming jurisdiction to decide on the matter through its virtual court arrangement.

Dear Okolie, pls don't forget to do giveaway when u cash out... 😀😀😀

This thing is confusing me, who are they prosecuting?

Never get on the bad side of tyrants. I don't expect much from any Nigerian judge on this one.

Nigeria why.

A security agency receiving orders from the daughter of the president abi what did I read here.

let's wait and see what the courts will do and avoid being preemptive.

I reserve my comments until I hear the judgement.

Not new they should be a fine to pay for denied his human right

Even in a lawless country like Nigeria Okolie must cash out, there is no way he is not gonna be paid by both MTN and DSS.

Okay.. This is new

They should focus on the current issue for now, that sim card issue is not our priority now...save lives.
