During her trial, the court heard that Dolheguy had profound mental health problems after being abused and neglected as a child, and had a personality disorder.Today, the court heard from Mr Rathod's parents, Hiren and Jagruti, who wrote an anguished statement about how their only child's death had profoundly affected their lives.
The court today heard from forensic psychiatrist Dr Andrew Carroll who said Dolheguy had a"dreadful upbringing"."She is grossly immature in terms of psychological development." Dolheguy has spent close to two years in pre-sentence detention, much of it in"close to 23-hour lockdown", the court heard. "She must of course be justly punished for what she did because an innocent man has died," Ms Lacy said.
Just goes to show how violent women can be, but without the consequences that apply to men.
A violent woman? How unusual. If only she had cried instead of drawing pictures ... a good behaviour bond would have almost been assured
Crime do ' pay very well in this country '
Convicted of manslaughter? It's a case of downright cold blooded murder!! 'It'll be ok' she says as she strangles him. Justice system?
As expected mental health issues off you go... After four years may be another one bites the dust who knows
I can’t remember there being a candlelight vigil for the man who was strangled to death by this woman? Seems like the vigils only occur when women are killed.
Why was she not charged with murder?
I must be missing something. This young woman confesses to deliberately killing a young man to stop him regaining consciousness, she's charged with manslaughter (not murder) the defence says she didn't meant to harm him Huh? and asks for four years in prison (not hospital).
If the male/female roles were flipped then this would be getting an entirely different treatment.
Wow, she's a little loco. Poor bloke, died doing what he loved tho.
