Female journalist wins £23,000 from former TV reporter she accused of rape in one of Japan's biggest MeToo cases

Freelance journalist Shiori Ito alleges that Noriyuki Yamaguchi raped her in 2015. A Tokyo court found in favour of Shiori today and awarded her 3.3million yen. Yamaguchi, who has close links to Japan's PM Shinzo Abe, denies wrongdoing.
