Supreme Court Dismisses PDM’s Appeal Seeking Cancellation Of Ebonyi Election.

The Supreme Court has dismissed an appeal filed by the People’s Democratic Movement in Ebonyi State, seeking the cancellation of the governorship election.

The political party had earlier approached the court seeking cancellation of the election on the grounds that the PDM governorship candidate was validly nominated but was excluded from the election.The unanimous judgment delivered by Justice Amina Adamu-Augie on Wednesday upheld the decision of the tribunal that the testimonies of their witnesses were filled with half-truths and contradictions.
