Meek Mill has teamed up with Roc Nation's Responsibility Program to release a PSA highlighting the death of Antwon Rose Jr.

Meek Mill onstage during Criminal Justice Town Hall On Policing at Community College of Philadelphia on Oct. 28, 2019 in Philadelphia.is looking to make a change in his community when it comes to police brutality and criminal justice reform. The Philly native's Dream Chasers label has teamed up with Roc Nation's Responsibility Program to release a PSA highlighting theRose was gunned down by a police officer during a traffic stop in East Pittsburgh.

In a new clip, Atwon's mother, Michelle Kenney, narrates and details her son's life and the encounter with police. “My hope is this PSA will inspire people to come together and create change in our communities," Mill also said in a statement. "Our country needs more communication and understanding – not hate and division – so it’s important that we collectively start the conversation and work to leave a lasting impact for future generations."

“I’m very grateful that Meek Mill and the DreamChasers put this PSA together about Antwon and highlighted the need for universal respect," Kenney added. "To make our communities better, we must show each other more love, care, generosity and empathy. I’m proud that Meek is using his platform to send that positive message and honor my son."

At the top of 2019, Meek Mill launched the REFORM Alliance alongside Jay-Z, Michael Rubin, and Robert Kraft as an initiative to create change in the criminal justice system.
