A MUM was left with half her brain exposed after her ex-boyfriend bludgeoned her to death with a claw hammer on the eve of her 33rd birthday, a court has heard.
She left Polish Tadewicz after he refused to cut his spending on fitness-enhancing drugs which left him experiencing paranoid delusions, jurors heard. The pair had hooked up on September 18 to go to a launch party at London nightclub Bar Rumba where Tadewicz said he began to feel "sentimental" towards Sandra.
Tadewicz insists he was suffering a mental illness at the time which left him unable to remember what happened the night Sandra died.Duncan Atkinson, QC, prosecuting, asked him: "Was the reality that you wanted to carry on a relationship with Sandra?"
