FOUR MEN HAVE appeared in court charged with the assault and false imprisonment of Kevin Lunney in September.66 year old Luke O’Reilly of Mullahoran Lower, Kilcogy, Co. Cavan, 38 year old Alan O’Brien of Shelmalier Road, East Wall, Dublin, 25 year old Darren Redmond of Caledon Road, East Wall, Dublin and a fourth man were arrested by gardaí last week.

Luke O’Reilly and the fourth man, who can’t be named due to reporting restrictions, were remanded in custody after no bail applications were made. Two bail applications were made on behalf of Alan O’Brien and Darren Redmond, which were objected to by gardaí on a number of grounds including concerns over evidence and potential witness intimidation.Comments are closed for legal reasons
