Court’s oldest member has maintained active public schedule despite series of health issues in recent yearsWASHINGTON—Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was hospitalized Friday after experiencing chills and fever earlier in the day, the Supreme Court said Saturday.
The 86-year-old justice initially was evaluated at Sibley Memorial Hospital near her home in Washington, but later was transferred to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore “for further evaluation and treatment of any possible infection,” the court statement said.
