High Court fixes Dec 9 to hear Teresa Kok’s committal proceeding against JMM president | Malay Mail

Kok’s lawyer, K.Murali, informed reporters the date after the matter came up for case management before judicial commissioner Rohani Ismail in chambers today. “We filed for committal proceeding because the defendant did not fulfil the terms of the settlement within the 45 days from July 29,” said Murali.

In her statement of claim, Kok said that on December 25 last year, at a rally held at Dataran Seni Klang, Selangor, Azwanddin as the president of JMM had made a speech which among others, contained defamatory words and lies about her.
