Three men appear in court charged in connection with an attack on sex workers in Roscommon last month

The arrests were part of the ongoing "Operation Quest" investigation into attacks on sex workers at various locations around the country.

The court was told that "excellent" CCTV footage showed the defendants arriving at the location, parking and entering the apartment block, on 28 October. In addition, the victims had given detailed descriptions of their alleged assailants to gardaí. 37-year-old Ioan Galben - with an address at 2 Warrenstown Park, Blanchardstown Heath, Dublin 15 - is charged with theft.

It is alleged that Mr Tiganasu was also involved in the robbery and assault of a male escort and a female escort at the apartment block. The court was told he used a knife to threaten the victims.
