The NBA said this in reaction to the reason given by the Department of State Services for not releasing pro-democracy campaigner and Publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, from its custody.

Does it really matter now?

So when he is released and u did not see him, no one is to be blamed? Or will u go back to blaming DSS? When Sowore jumps bail like Kanu, should govt just say its OK, we released him to no one after ball?

What happens if he refuses to go home after release? This is a matter of standard operating procedure and not issue of law.

Tell them. Let them know. What a Lawless country.

It makes sense to ask “his people” to sign a paper admitting his release. Otherwise, they let him go without evidence and “his people” say he has not been released. This is Nigeria. Each side has its “antics”!

He is repping what he saw.

NigBarAssoc Why are people including NBA members afraid to stick out their heads for him? I am sure there is something in the wood scaring people away.

Aaha the truth is coming out, no one want to be held responsible when he disappears.

There should be an independent regulatory body that enforces court orders and imposes appropriate sanctions on defaulters

Leave DSS to be fooling themselves. When people eventually came for him, did they free him? Horrible society we live in.

NigBarAssoc If it’s so why then admit suspect on bail?

NigBarAssoc The problem of nigeria

Sowore is being held under special renditions. No judge has powers in matters of national security. Those who pushed him from Dubai are watching from afar now. He will come out drugs free though

Shut up jare! Which NBA? No bi una lawyer Dey oppose ?

Are we really surprised by all the antics of this govt, they cannot practice democracy because they are quite aware they did not win through democracy! So welcome to despot-crazy govt!

NigBarAssoc Since he is on bail wont they hand over d bailed to d bailee ni?

NigBarAssoc You mean the same NBA?

NigBarAssoc Stop wearing the wig.slavery ended many many many years ago

NBA messed up during this administration, they must go beyond media comments

NigBarAssoc Isn't it funny how these guys prefer soundiing dumb to doing the right thing?

Buhari's government be overdoing it! 🙄
