No surety to take delivery of Sowore – DSS

The Department of State Services , says no person has turned up to take delivery of Mr Omoyele Sowore since a court order was received for his release.

He said the clarification was necessary for reasons of accountability adding that the service had received the court order for his release. He said the service was not a lawless organisation and would never obstruct justice or disobey court orders. The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Sowore was arrested on Aug.3, over allegation that he was leading a group known as RevolutionNow on a protest in the country.Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of the Federal High Court on Oct. 4 granted him bail in the sum N100 million with two sureties in the like sum.

His bail conditions have been met what's surety again. The courts haved ruled for his release why not just open the gate and let him walk out.

Wise Nigerians o. No one wants to put up the surety after the high profile porn star absconded leaving dem holding the bag. 😉

Sowore is now a luggage. No wahala

A surety is a person who comes to court and promises to a judge or a justice of the peace to supervise an accused person while they are out on bail. A surety also pledges or promises an amount of money to the court by signing a type of bond called a recognizance . No friends? 😐
