Jailed murderer tries to claim he’s now served his life sentence because he momentarily ‘died’ when his heart stopped

A MURDERER serving a life sentence tried to claim he should be freed after he momentarily “died” during a medical emergency.

After falling unconscious in his prison cell, he was taken to a local hospital in Iowa, US, where he was resuscitated five times. In 2018, Schreiber applied to a state court for release, arguing that he had "momentarily died" at the hospital and therefore fulfilled his life sentence.

Quite right, you’re either dead or alive. 🤣

Nice sentiment!

Shame he can round in the end

If he'd been distracted from reality by a recurring attacked heart for 38 Godless years I'd have more sympathy. As for me, my criminal record for popping off as I fight demons is ruining my life. I haven't lived an actual right day. That makes me dead or less than human first. JC

Don't think it works like that 🙄 this guy is a monster.

I hope he stays were he is
