Edo State police command on Friday paraded a 42-year old man, Uchenna Duru posing as a lawyer to defraud one Abdulahi Ruth of Airforce School of an undisclosed amount of money and her Toyota car with

registration number GU-514-LV.

During the investigation, police said that it also arrested one Madam Adams Dora. Madam Adams, however, denied any involvement in the case. Adams went on to allege that Duru fraudulently obtained one million Naira and an additional N1.5 million from her to buy a vehicle with the promise of marriage.Similarly, a woman identified as Angela Maidoki was arrested by the troop of 4 Brigade of the Nigerian Army Benin along Agbor Road while wearing a military camouflage uniform and handed over to the police.

On interrogation by the operatives, she confessed that her late husband was a lance corporal in the Nigerian Army until his demise in 2017 in Maiduguri while fighting Boko Haram. Maidoki said that she used the uniform to escort vehicles from one place to another in order to take care of her family.
