A man is due in court on Thursday morning in relation to a serious incident that took place outside Citywest Shopping Centre on Wednesday evening. The incident, which saw a car seemingly deliberately drive into another car, took place at approximately 5.30pm on Wednesday. A man in his 20s was taken to Tallaght Hospital for treatment; his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
A 23-year-old man was arrested and taken to Tallaght Garda Station, where he was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
