Nasharudin Mat Isa claims trial to charges of money laundering and CBT offences. FMTNews

SHAH ALAM: Former PAS deputy president Nasharudin Mat Isa today claimed trial to 33 charges of money laundering and criminal breach of trust amounting to RM4 million.

He also faces 30 other charges under Section 409 of the Penal Code for committing CBT involving RM3,721,683,80 between 2015 and 2018.He faces up to 15 years’ jail for the Amla charges, and 20 years’ jail, fine and caning for CBT. Nasharudin was PAS deputy president from 2005 to 2013, but was sacked from the Islamist party over statements critical of the party and for being absent from meeting.
