The major arm of recycling contractor SKM has been put into liquidation by order of the Supreme Court but the company will continue to pick up kerbside recycling while it is up for sale

.

SKM Industries Pty Ltd in one of 14 entities within the recycling company's group, and is the second to be put into formal liquidation.The recycling contractor received a $10 million loan from the state government at the end of August to assist in the clean up of the Laverton North processing centre.
