Reacting to the judgement of the Tribunal in Sokoto, the party described the verdict as a victory for democracy and the inevitable triumph of the will of the people.
It stated that the people stood their ground in the March 23 governorship election, despite attempts by “forces that sought to foist themselves” on the state. The PDP believes Governor Tambuwal’s victory at the election was a clear endorsement of his leadership style as evinced in his commitment towards the development of the state and the empowerment of the people.
“Indeed, Governor Tambuwal’s achievements in developing the state and empowering the people in all critical sectors of life stood him out in his first term. “His re-election, therefore, marks the determination of the people to consolidate on good governance in their state,” the party said.
At least DEMOCRACY is at work in sokoto, but it's in danger in kano and plateau state... Awon werey gbogbo... 😀🤣😃😀😂😁
What an irony!!! This is nothing but selfishness.
Hypocrisy to the highest level, when court declared PDP winner, it's democracy, when court declared APC winner, it's robber stamp on democracy.
