Apple CEO Tim Cook opposes Trump, backs 'dreamer' immigrants in Supreme Court brief

WASHINGTON - Apple Inc CEO Tim Cook on Wednesday filed a brief at the U.S. Supreme Court opposing President Donald Trump's effort to end a program that protects from deportation hundreds of thousands of immigrants who were brought into the United States illegally as children.

The Supreme Court is set to hear oral arguments on Nov. 12 over Trump's 2017 plan to rescind the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. Trump's move to rescind DACA was blocked by lower courts. Cook's brief stated that the motivation for weighing in on one of the biggest cases before the Supreme Court in its new term that starts on Monday was to support of the company's diverse workforce.

Cook's brief is likely to be one of many filed in support of DACA recipients in the coming days ahead of a Friday deadline. Others that have challenged Trump's action include the University of California, labor unions and various states including California and New York.

So?

Yes tim_cook please back more of them so Apple can have a much better diversity in their programmers and continue releasing shit software updates requiring emergency patches mere days after release. Instead of getting actual competent individuals. Totally makes sense.

If I was President Zuckerberg you would be fighting High Treason Charges! I know how you influenced the 2016 elections, fomented violence against Trump Supporters! I remember your crimes well! Makes you wonder what Republican has Mark in his pocket. I mean, why bring up a fight he will have with someone who isn’t even on the ballot yet. I was supporting Sen. Warren anyway but now I’m going to see how many more I can bring along with me. As all the Crimes Committed by the Mass Media even Fox News took up political sides, all media outlets in America should be neutral and deliver the news! This has failed to happen as Facebook & CNN are nothing but puppets of the DNC!
