The Justice Department concluded "there was no campaign finance violation and that no further action was warranted.”

The Justice Department decided, at some point in the past two months, not to investigate President Donald Trump for committing a potential campaign finance violation when he asked Ukraine’s president to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son.

Kupec said that all “relevant components of the Department agreed with this legal conclusion, and the Department has concluded the matter.” Trump also asked Zelensky to talk with his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani and Attorney General William Barr about Biden’s son, Hunter.
