‘Gun found on me was collateral for loan’

, has claimed that the Pump Action gun found on him was a collateral from a friend he loaned a sum of N80,000.

About 40 personnel of the NDLEA alongside officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp left Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, to arrest Ameh, who had been on the wanted list of the command for several months. The suspect who is also a native doctor denied ownership of the gun, saying that it served as collateral towards recovering his money.
