LONDON - British lawmakers, including Conservatives expelled this week from the party, are preparing legal action in case Prime Minister Boris Johnson refuses to seek a delay to Brexit, the BBC reported on Saturday.

An opposition bill which would force Johnson to ask the European Union for an extension to Britain’s departure to avoid a no-deal Brexit on Oct. 31 was approved by parliament’s appointed upper chamber, the House of Lords, on Friday.Johnson, a leader of the campaign to leave the EU during the 2016 Brexit referendum, took office in July after his Conservative party predecessor Theresa May quit following three failed attempts to get a deal with Brussels through parliament.

Johnson has said he has no intention of seeking an extension and would rather “die in a ditch” than delay Brexit, while on Saturday the Daily Telegraph quoted him as saying he was only bound “in theory” by the new legislation. Johnson says the only solution to the Brexit deadlock is a new election, which he wants to take place on Oct. 15, allowing him to win a new mandate with two weeks left to leave on time.

Befuddled Hair, befuddled brain, befuddled speech, befuddled policies, = Befuddled Boris 🤡

Loony socialists taking the power from the people. Pretty ballsy to overturn the will of the voters. They should all be replaced immediately.

Seem the Brexit is going to be endless arguing and disagreeing and being delayed again and again. Maybe a 2nd referendum to make a clear decision for everyone?

British Fascists you mean. Don't do it Boris PeoplesPrimeMinister

Denied court appeal lol

The lol thing is that even if they DO manage to get a... Lol... Three month delay... CON/BXP will crush LAB in the next GE and then... Crash the country out of the EU w/o a deal.

Are they using American Sheriffs?

October 31st was made law last time.. courts already stated.. it's not their jurisdiction now.. as major/Gina found out

But not willing to let voters make the call.

If they gave us an election they wouldn't be lawmakers much longer.

You mean: 'British lawmakers willing to go to court to stop the American corporate takeover of the UK by the far right extremists in charge of the conservative party'

No exit route for Brexit. There can never be a perfect Business or Economics model. Waste of resources of every type just to defend their egos and there are public to support both the warring groups.

How can they possibly bind this on a PM, JWJBowden? The right to negotiate treaties and exercise foreign policy decisions falls under the constitutional right of the cabinet, not the Parliament! Am I wrong?

- Can we leave with a deal? 'No' - Any other deals we can leave with? 'No' - OK, can we leave without a deal? ' No' - Can we have an election then? 'No' - Not trying to stop Brexit by any chance are you? 'Shut up fascist - stop the coup!'

Everyone in the political sphere needs to take note of the people. The whole system of government needs changing and the lawmakers need to be aware that they are not exempt!

The way it’s going brexit will go nowhere.

For “lawmakers” read Remoaners.

Time to STOP the rebels. Together it can be done and must be done or democracy will not survive. Together we can destroy the undemocratic remain element in Parliament. We must restore the Peoples Parliament to the people.
