German Chancellor Angela Merkel calls for a quick end to the China-US trade war because 'it affects everybody' in the world

Merkel hoped the tariff war would be resolved soon during a visit to China. She also urged Beijing to respect the 'rights and freedoms' of Hong Kong. The German leader is in China till tomorrow and will dine with President Xi.
