Hong Kong's government has made moves to end the three-month political crisis with concessions to protesters and appeals to international investors.

Hong Kong authorities took out a full-page advert in the Australian Financial Review on Thursday aimed at reassuring overseas investors."We remain a safe, open, welcoming and cosmopolitan society and an internationally connected, vibrant and dynamic economy. We will no doubt bounce back.
