The supervisor of Daniel Pantaleo, who was fired from the NYPD on Monday over Eric Garner’s death, faces a disciplinary trial

Ben ChapmanA New York Police Department sergeant will face a disciplinary trial over her role in the 2014 death of Eric Garner by the end of the year, Mayor Bill de Blasio said on Tuesday.

Sgt. Kizzy Adonis is accused of failing to adequately supervise former Officer Daniel Pantaleo in connection with the death of Mr. Garner in Staten Island, NYPD officials said.
