Federal immigration authorities were able to track an undocumented Guatemalan woman from the time she left her home and headed to work at a food processing plant in Mississippi to the time she left roughly 10 hours later. Story by DaniellaLSilva: (1/5)

Federal immigration authorities were able to track an undocumented Guatemalan woman from the time she left her home in the morning and headed to work at a food processing plant in Mississippi, to the time she left work roughly 10 hours later.

“It’s troubling to us that people who are released are being tracked for reasons that have nothing to do with whether they’re likely to appear for their court cases or abscond,” said Judy Rabinovitz, deputy director of the American Civil Liberties Union’s Immigrants' Rights Project. "I would want to know if all of this is disclosed to people, particularly if it's going to be used as evidence against those people in a criminal proceeding down the road," she said.

ICE Acting Director Matthew Albence said in a statement this week that worksite enforcement operations involve “complex criminal investigations of both employers and employees.”“Our investigation in Mississippi continues, and all parties found in violation of law will be held accountable,” he added. “This includes employers who profit off their crimes.”

In the search warrant for Peco Foods, ICE said that queries of immigrants enrolled in an alternatives to detention program showed 21 undocumented immigrants worked at its processing plants in Mississippi, 14 of which were at a plant in Canton.

DaniellaLSilva They Have No Rights!! Remember there are no Consequences to legal migration!!

DaniellaLSilva Actually it's sound law enforcement work.

DaniellaLSilva The only people it troubles are Marxists, globalists, greedy corporations using open borders for slave labour, and the usual suspects who say America needs more migrants while saying Israel shouldn't have to import some diversity.

DaniellaLSilva Great job ICE ! Maybe she will show up for her court date and come back in legally !

DaniellaLSilva They shouldn't just track her, they should have immediately arrested her and brought her back to her country of origin. Our system has been abused for decades and will continue to be. The time for bleeding hearts is over.

DaniellaLSilva Abolish ICE.

DaniellaLSilva August 2, 2015 😂😂😂 Jeh Johnson told the House Judiciary Committee that ICE was 'ramping up' its use of ankle monitors and intended to more than double the total number monitored, from 23,000 last year to 53,000 in 2016.

DaniellaLSilva Undocumented! Meaning ILLEGAL.

DaniellaLSilva So this is really the best use of taxpayer resources? Arresting hundreds of people whose only crime is working at a crappy job when they’re not supposed to?

DaniellaLSilva Authorities were able to do so because the woman had received an ankle monitor upon being released from ICE detention, and ICE officials used data gleaned from her monitor to target raids this month on her plant and 6 others that led to the arrests of nearly 700 people. (2/5)

DaniellaLSilva Many criminals have ankle bracelets. Nothing new.

DaniellaLSilva Sooo.... what's the problem?

DaniellaLSilva They track my car so when my payment is late the repo man knows where to find me too and such is life

DaniellaLSilva Maybe use this tech to stop domestic terrorists instead? Just a thought.

DaniellaLSilva Hats off to ICE for great lawmen work.

DaniellaLSilva So, according to the Left, we're not supposed to detain illegal immigrants, but we can't monitor them either?

DaniellaLSilva Follow the law. So easy.
